Support JSA Boys SDG 4 Project

Support JSA Projects by purchasing our self-made Fundraiser Yummies and Crafts. We have the “Barbequed Coconut Snack”, a unique and innovative product made from coconut as part of the Fundraiser Yummies production line targeted towards raising funds for the Boys SDG 4 project and other projects of JSA.
The Boys SDG 4 Project is an annual project at JSA whereby young boys are empowered to undertake charity projects in rural areas in fulfilment of UN SDG 4: To ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. The project began in 2018 at Somnyamekodur D/A Basic School in the Twifo Hemang district of the Central Region. Boys from the Future Men Bootcamp raised money to purchase a yearly supply of sanitary towels for less privileged girls in this school. Somnyamekodur is a striving farming community with a lot of agricultural produce such as cocoa, coconut, plantain, palm nut etc.
After the implementation of the project, we decided to adopt the school/community for the next five (5) years due to their deprived conditions to equip them with skills and resources to transform their lives and achieve the UN SDGs. During this period, we are refurbishing the school’s library, setting up an accommodation facility for the teachers, and providing annual self-leadership, goal setting and agribusiness training for the girls and youth in addition to the yearly supply of sanitary towels.
In fundraising for this year’s project, we came up with the “JSA Fundraiser Yummies”; locally made snacks from agriculture products which we exhibit and sell at fairs to raise money for the project. Headlining this is the “Barbequed Coconut Snack” to also promote the innovative consumption of agriculture products. Ever since the commencement of fundraising for the SDG 4 Project, Currently, we have been participating at impactful fairs and exhibitions in Accra to sell our Fundraiser Yummies and Crafts to raise funds for the project with all proceeds going towards elevating rural girls and supporting the less privileged in society
JSA is calling on you to support us raise funds towards the annual Boys SDG 4 Project at Somnyamekodur D/A Basic School.
